Using the Clik Board Designer
Go to Tools > Clik Board Designer to open the tool.
Then we can either create a board or open a previously saved one.
Creating New Projects
We’re going to create a new project. Click ‘Cancel’ and then ‘New Project’.
Now we have a new project, we can set the details of the supply by double-clicking on the supply symbol. Then we can set the supply parameters.
Adding and Editing Boards
Next, we can create a board. There are a few different ways to do this:
First, you can right-click on the supply icon and select ‘Supply New Board’.
Or you can drag one of the boards from the ‘Tools’ box in the right corner over to the supply.
We can edit a board by double-clicking on it. This will bring up the distribution board editor.
You can edit the board in a similar way to the circuit details and test results pages on a certificate. In this example, we’ll create a few circuits using the circuit wizard.
Click on the ‘Add Circuits’ button and select ‘Using Circuit Wizard’. For this example, we’re going to make a 3 phase circuit with 10 rows.
We can then add the recorded information onto our circuits.
Select ‘OK’ to see the new board on the designer window.
Connecting Boards
With the board designer, you can connect boards together for a visual representation of how your boards link.
Right-click on a circuit and choose ‘Supply New Board’ or drag and drop a board onto the circuit.
If you have a board ready and want to connect it, right-click the circuit, select ‘Supply Board’ and choose a board.
When you’re happy with your board, click ‘Save’ at the top action bar to use your new board.
