Unlocking and Editing Completed Certs
This article will show you how you can edit complete certs.
You will not be able to edit the test results, the applied cert number or observations on a complete cert. You can use templates to copy the details onto a new cert.
Before You Start
You will first need to make sure your user has the correct privileges to complete this process. Follow this guide and ensure the ‘Can Edit Complete Certificates‘ privilege is set as “allow”.
First, open a completed certificate and select ‘Edit’ at the top of the certificate window.
You will now be in edit mode. Next, hover over the field you wish to edit with your mouse and select the edit icon, beside the highlighted box.
Select an option from the ‘Edit Reason‘ drop down and make the change to the field. When happy with the edit, click ‘Okay’ and then click ‘Yes’ when the commit warning appears.
The field will now be successfully edited in the cert.
This feature was added in update v1.0.35.
