Setting Up Certificate Start Numbers
In Clik Compliance, each time a certificate is created, a unique number is automatically assigned. By default, numbering begins at one and increments sequentially with each new certificate of that type. However, you have the option to customize the starting number if required. This article will guide you through the process of modifying the certificate numbering settings.
First, you will need to navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab.

Then press the ‘Certificate Numbers’ button.

You can then see all your available certificates. Use the search function to find the type you want to edit by typing in the short code. In the screenshot below, you can see the ‘Shortcode’ of the cert, the amount of numbers ‘Used’ for that cert type, and finally the ‘Next Number’ in sequence for that cert. The starting number must be greater than the last number used.

To update the start number, press the ‘Set Number’ button on the right-hand side

Put your updated start number in the ‘New Number’ box and hit save to finalize your changes.
