Setting Up a Workflow for Team Notifications (Private Channels)
This article will show you how to link Clik Service with Microsoft Teams so that you can set up Teams channel notifications in private team channels. For example, a notification that tells the channel a job is complete.
First, you must create a workflow with a webhook in Microsoft Teams.
Right-click on the channel you want the notification from and select Workflow.

Find the workflow template ‘Post to a channel when a webhook request is received.’

Note: The webhook template Post to a chat when a webhook request is received may not be available depending on your organization type. For more help, contact your IT admin.
Next you can give your workflow a name and make sure you have a valid connection in to teams correctly. Click ‘Next’ to continue.

You can then select the teams and channel, if you created from the channel, it would auto select. Click ‘Add Workflow’ to continue.

Once added, the workflow will be created and give you a unique URL (Web Address). Copy this so it can be pasted into Clik Service. Click ‘Done’ to finish.

Now we need to open Clik Service and got to Settings > Settings > Communication>MS TEAMS.

You then need to put in the channel in the channel box and paste the URL you copied into the ‘Webhook URL.’ Click ‘Add’ and then ‘OK.’

Now that’s done, we need to make sure the Workflow works in a private channel.
You will need to go to the ‘Workflows’ to see the workflows you have created in Teams.
Here I have the workflows app on my teams like below.

Once in you will see your workflows, open the workflow you have created by clicking on the link and selecting ‘Edit.’

You will now need to select the ‘Send each adaptive card.’ Then select the ‘Post card in chat or channel.’ You need to make sure the ‘Post As’ is set to ‘User.’ Click ‘Save’ to finish.

Ok, now the workflow is configured you can now make a teams notification, please go to the create teams notifications article.
