Removing Certs From Field Users
What can I do if a cert has been sent to a field user by a mistake or they are unable to carry out the work?
The first thing to do is ask the engineer to send the cert back to the office. You will then be able to accept the cert and select a different engineer to send it to.
If you are unable to ask the engineer to send it back at that time, you can create a template of the cert sent to the engineer’s device and apply it to a new cert. You will then be able to send it out to a different engineer.
This process will need to be completed in the main NICEIC Cert Software database.
To do this, go to your ‘Sent Certs’ list by clicking on the drop-down on the ‘Certificates‘ tab.
Then right-click on the cert and select ‘Create Template’.
Enter a template category and name and click ‘Ok’.
You can then find the template in your template list. You can use this new template and apply that to a new cert.
