Installing the Office Software
This article will help you to install the Clik Cert software. You will require the server installer if this is the first installation either on a server or on a standalone machine. If you need to install the software on multiple machines, follow the below first and then refer to our client install article.
You should receive an email with all the details you need to install the software. If do not have this email, please contact our support team.
The first thing to do is click the download installer link and run the installer by double-clicking on the Clik Cert icon in your “Downloads” folder.
Click ‘Next’ on the splash screen.
Read through our terms and conditions and click ‘I Agree’ if you’re happy to continue.
You will then get the opportunity to choose the destination folder for the software. After selecting the correct destination, click ‘Install’.
Click ‘Finish’ at the end.
You can then open Clik Cert by selecting the desktop icon
On the next screen, the most common set-up options will be shown by default but if you wish to change or view them, you can click ‘Advanced options’ to explore other settings for the installation.
Click ‘Next’ when you are happy with the selection.
The setup will then be completed. To view the log of changes made, click on ‘View Log’. Select ‘Next’
Your networking passcode will then appear. You will need this to connect another machine to this server. Click on ‘Copy Passcode’ to later use it for the client installation.
Click ‘Finish’ to complete the process.
You can use the default “Admin” user to log in for the first time. You can find the password in your installation email.
Now the installation is complete, you can register the software and set up the client install if you require the software on multiple machines.
