Importing Equipment Via CSV
Creating Equipment CSV Templates
First, you need to create a template to put the equipment in.
Go to Tools > CSV Import > Equipment.
Select ‘Create CSV Template‘ and select ‘Standard Equipment Template‘ or ‘Standard Equipment Template With Example User Definable Fields‘.
Save a copy of the Excel file to your PC.
Collate your equipment information into the corresponding columns within the Excel template.
Make sure the site description or reference is spelt correctly so the equipment can be imported into the sites correctly.
Save the CSV document and exit Excel.
Importing Equipment Into Clik Service
Go to Tools > CSV Import > Equipment.
Click on ‘Import’.
For this particular CSV, select ‘Site Reference’ for the ‘Link Object to Object by’ field, then click ‘OK‘.
Browse for the Excel file you created, then click ‘Open’.
When the import has finished, click ‘Save‘. This will import the equipment into Clik Service.
Refresh the CRM to see the equipment you have imported under the ‘Equipment’ tab.
