Editing Validation Rules
You can remove and include rules for each certificate in the NICEIC Cert Software. You can also ignore N/A (non-applicable) values.
To do this. go to Edit > Settings > Validation.
Select the certificate you wish to edit the rules from the drop-down list. This can be the entire certificate or just the circuit details and test results.
Select a rule and click the checkbox to enable the rule or disable the rule.
To ignore N/A values, click on the ‘N/A Values’ tab and enable or disable the ‘Ignore ‘Not Applicable’ Values’ checkbox.
You can also add different N/A combinations for the validation to ignore, for example, if you use “na” rather than “N/A” to distinguish non-applicable values.
To do this, type the value in the text box and click ‘Add’.
You can also delete previous combinations by selecting the value and clicking ‘Delete’.
