Editing Validation Rules
This guide provides instructions for modifying validation rules within the Cert Software. Users can enable or disable rules for each certificate and change settings to ignore non-applicable (N/A) values.
Steps to Edit Validation Rules
1. Access Validation Settings
a. Navigate to Edit > Settings > Validation.

2. Select the Certificate and Rule
a. Choose the certificate you want to modify from the drop-down menu. This may include the entire certificate, circuit details, or test results.
b. Locate the desired rule and use the checkbox to enable or disable it.

3. Configure N/A Value Settings
a. Switch to the N/A Values tab.
b. Enable or disable the Ignore ‘Not Applicable’ Values checkbox to specify whether N/A values should be excluded from validation.

4. Adding or Deleting Custom N/A Combinations
You can specify additional values for the validation system to treat as non-applicable, such as using “na” instead of “N/A.”
- Enter the desired value in the text box and click Add.
- To remove a previously added value, select it and click Delete.
By following these steps, you can customize validation rules and N/A value handling to align with your requirements.
