Creating Your First Cert [Video]
In the field of electrical work, prioritising safety is essential. An integral component of this process involves utilising electrical certificate software.
This video will walk you through the basics of creating your first cert in Clik’s NICEIC Cert Software. See how you can add addresses, fill in details, create circuits and more.
How to Create Your First Certificate
Start by going to ‘Create Cert’
You can add certificates as favourites by clicking the star.
You can also see how many numbers you have available.
Next, click on the certificate you require to create a new one.
Each certificate layout will vary and require you to fill in different fields.
The first page of an electrical installation certificate, for example, has four parts that you need to fill in:
Part 1:
- Details of the contractor. This information is pulled from the owner company details in the address book.
- Details of the client
- Details of the installation
Part 2:
- The type of installation carried out
- Description of the electrical work covered in the certificate
Part 3:
- Comments on the existing installation
Part 4:
- Declaration for the electrical installation work
- Engineer’s signature
- Review by a qualified supervisor
