Creating Job Merge Notifications
This article will show you how to create a notification telling you a job is ready to be merged into Clik Service from Clik Jobs.
First, go to Settings > Settings > Communication > Notifications.

Next, click on ‘Add’ and type or select ‘job’ in the ‘filter modules’ box.
Give the notification a title in the ‘Notification Title’ box and click ‘Next’.

Now we need to create the trigger to populate the notification. Click on the magnifying glass on the ‘Trigger Property’ box, select ‘Yes/No Fields’ and select ‘Ready for Merge’.
Click ‘OK’ to confirm and then ‘Next’ to continue to the next step.

Next, you can create your type of notification. In this case, we will create an internal notification.
Go to ‘Add new action’ and select ‘Internal’.

Next, it’s time to configure the notification text you want to appear. You may want to untick ‘Enable’ beforehand just in case it’s not quite ready for the notification to be sent out.
Click on ‘Configure’ to bring up the notification configuration screen, this is where you will create the message that will get sent.

In this example, we will add an individual user who will receive the notification.

Now we can create the message we want to show by using text and tags, tags will display the information from a job sheet.
To select a tag, click on ‘Insert Tags’ and select the tag you require, below is an example of a message you may send out.
We used the [JobNumber] tag to show which jobs are now ready to be merged.

Click ‘OK’ and then ‘Finish’ and your notification will be ready to go.
