Creating Contract Invoice Templates
Tags can be added to an invoice template item description to pull out information from a contract setup.
First, create an invoice template by going to Modules > Invoicing > Invoice Templates.
Select ‘New Template‘.
You can now fill in the information and add the tags to the invoice items description.
List of available Tags
#CONTRACT_NO# (Contract number)
#CONTRACT_CUST_REF# (Customer ref.)
#CONTRACT_TITLE# (Title of contract)
#CONTRACT_VALUE# (Value of contract)
#CONTRACT_LEVEL# (Contract level)
#CONTRACT_TYPE# (Type of contract)
#CONTRACT_START_DATE# (Contract’s start date)
#CONTRACT_START_DATE_MONTH_AND_YEAR# (Contract’s start date (mm/yy)
#CONTRACT_END_DATE# (Contracts end date)
#CONTRACT_END_DATE_MONTH_AND_YEAR# (Contracts end date mm/yy)
The next time you create a template from a contract, you will be able to select the invoice tab within the contract and select New > New Invoice from Template.
You’ll be able to see your contract tags in the invoice item description.
