Creating Additional Notes and User Comments
Additional Notes and User Comments
Each certificate includes dedicated sections for ‘User Comments’ and, in some cases, ‘Additional Notes’. These fields allow you to add supplementary information relevant to your certification process.
To access these sections, begin by opening the certificate of your choice by clicking on the ‘Certificates’ tab on the left-hand side and then ‘Certificates’ again in the drop down.

For the example below, we have used an EIC18.3C, which has both the additional notes and user comments sections.
Additional notes
To add additional notes, open the certificate of your choice and navigate to the ‘Additional Notes’ tab.

This page contains a free text field where you can enter relevant information. Please note that this field only accepts plain text, images, attachments, or documents cannot be uploaded. This section is only available on select certificates. Any information entered here will appear on the PDF version of the certificate, making it ideal for sharing external-facing details or context.
User Comments
To add user comments, open the certificate of your choice and navigate to the ‘User comments’ tab.
Available on all certificates, this section allows you and your team to add internal notes. These comments are not included in the PDF version and are only visible to people with access to your database. You can also tag your colleagues by using the ‘@’ symbol and typing their name directly after it, for example ‘@John’.
