Creating Action List Notifications
This article will show you how to send notifications internally, this could be useful if you want to notify a user that a job is unassigned, for example.
First, on Clik Service go to Settings > Settings.
Select Communication > Notifications and click ‘Add’.
Next, we will select ‘Action List’ and give a name to the notification, by typing in the ‘Notification Title’ field.
Then we will select the action list. In our example, it’s ‘Sales List’.
Then we will need to specify the trigger to send the notification out.
For example, we can assign a trigger for when the action list is complete.
Next, we can select what type of notification we want to send.
In this example, we will do an internal notification, however, you can send any type of notification.
Now select ‘Add New Action’ and select ‘Internal’.
Next, it’s time to configure the notification text you want to appear. You may want to untick ‘Enable’ beforehand just in case it’s not quite ready for the notification to be sent out.
Click on ‘Configure’ to bring up the notification configuration screen, this is where you will create the message that will get sent.
In this example, we will add an individual user who will receive the notification.
Now we can create the message we want to show by using text and tags, tags will display the information from a job sheet.
To select a tag, click on ‘Insert Tags’ and select the tag you require, below is an example of a message you may send out.
We have used the tag [JobNumber] to show which jobs are currently unassigned.
Click ‘OK’ to save and that’s your internal notification saved and ready to go.
