Creating a Certificate From an Asset

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating a certificate directly from an asset.

There are two ways to create a certificate from an asset:

Option 1: From the Main Assets Page (via Customer Profile)

Step 1: Navigate to the Customer List

From the left-hand menu, go to CRM > Customers.

Step 2: Locate the Customer

Click on the customer for whom you want to create a certificate. You can find them by:

• Using the search bar in the top right corner
• Filtering table columns by clicking the search icon on a column header and entering a keyword

Step 3: Find the Site

Go to the Sites tab and locate the site where the asset is stored.

Step 4: Locate the Asset

Click into the Assets tab and find the asset you want to use for the certificate.

Step 5: Create the Certificate

Go to the Certificates tab and click Create New Certificate.

Option 2: From the CRM > Assets Section

Step 1: Navigate to Assets

From the left-hand menu, go to CRM > Assets.

Step 2: Find and Select the Asset

Search for and click on the asset you want to generate the certificate from.

Step 3: Create the Certificate

Click on the Certificates tab, then click Create New Certificate.

You’ve successfully created a certificate with the asset applied.
