Applying Engineer Skills to Jobs Templates

In this article, we will look at using job templates to apply estimated times, skills and qualifications to a job.
Within a job template, you can set the qualifications and the trade needed for a job. As well as applying an estimated time.
First, go to a job template by going to the ‘Jobs’ module, selecting ‘New’ at the top left and then ‘New Job from Template’.
Select from the jobs list or select ‘New’ to create a new job template.
Then click on the ‘Skills’ tab and then ‘Add’.
We can now specify which trade, skill level, qualification and qualification level we need the engineer to have as well as the estimated time for the job.
Click ‘Save’ to save the job template and select ‘Create Job’ in the bottom right.
On the job, you can now see the specified criteria on the ‘Skills’ tab.
When you book an engineer for this job, it will apply the filter with the applied skills and qualifications and show the estimated time.
You can turn off the filter by unchecking the assistant box.
If you have more than one skill/qualification applied to a job, when booking an engineer, a window will appear asking which skill/qualification to filter your engineers by.
