Adding Database Images to Print Templates
If you want to show engineers photos on a job sheet, this guide will show you how to do it.
There are two options, one to show all images or one to show a single image. We explain how to do both below.
Show All Images
First, go to the template editor by clicking Tools > Print Template Editor.
Open up the template you want the images to display in.
Click on the ‘Insert Table’ button, then click where you want to place it.
Set the ‘Table Name’ as ‘Documents’.
Next, go to the ‘Columns’ tab and add a standard column then change the ‘Column Format’ to ‘DBImage’.
Once you’re done click ‘OK’.
When you print out the template you will see all the images.
Show One Image
This is an easier way of just showing one image.
First, go to the template editor by clicking Tools > Print Template Editor.
Open the template you want the image to display in.
Then select the ‘Database Image’ icon and place it where you want the document to appear.
You will then need to go to the properties window for the database image. Click on the placeholder, then go to the ‘Properties’ tab on the right-hand side.
Click on the ‘DatabaseField’ drop-down and select ‘Documents’.
You now will see images that have been saved on your job sheets.
