The NICEIC Cert Software
We launched the new version of the NICEIC Cert Software at the beginning of the year. To coincide with the 18th edition wiring regulations, we gave the electrical certificate software a revamp and improved the user interface.
Since the initial launch, our developers have been working on introducing regular improvements and additional features to both the office software and Clik Cert Electrical apps. We’ve added brand new installers, spellcheck, column chooser and we’ve got plenty more to come in 2020.
The New Clik Remote
Our remote job management solution also received a refresh and launched in June this year. The web-based software offers four logins for your managers, engineers, customers and sales team. With the new upgrade, the program now offers an easy-to-navigate layout for everyone in your business.

Clik Service Stability Improvements
This year, we have been focussing on improving the stability and overall performance in Clik Service. Within a series of planned updates, we made behind-the-scenes improvements and introduced the CS Loader to enable users to maintain a local copy of Clik Service and effectively improve the running speeds.
Clik Remote Webinars
The launch of the new Clik Remote coincided with a number of live webinar events to showcase the features of the available logins. Our training team walked through the basics of the Manager and Customer login as well as a full look into the new F-Gas module.
You can watch all the webinars here:

We will be organising more webinars in the new year. Let us know what you want to see featured in future events.
Inside Clik Towers
It is not just the software that saw exciting changes in 2019; Team Clik also evolved throughout the year. Some new faces further expanded the tech team. With Dan G, Rory, Kristia, Dom, George, Jake, Tim and James all joining. Meanwhile, downstairs in the developer department, Jonathan and Gareth joined to assist in testing and iOS development. Mary also joined us in the main office, providing support on the phones.
Elsewhere at Clik, Ian tied the knot, Rory was promoted to 2nd Line Support, April returned from maternity leave and Kieran taught Jake all about Cilla Black and he has been singing her greatest hits ever since.
We spent our annual summer social canoeing down the River Wye and recently gathered at Bristol’s Spiegeltent for a Christmas celebration.
Finally, this November, we all united in adoration of a tender green nugget called “Baby Yoda”. Baby Yoda – who is not the infant version of the classic Star Wars Jedi Master, but (probably) another member of Yoda’s mysterious species – is a character from Disney’s The Mandalorian. Werner Herzog, who stars in the series, has described him as “heartbreakingly beautiful”. We all agree.
So much happened at Clik Towers during 2019, here’s to another great year in 2020!
