2022 was another year of big features and updates for Clik products. Our team are already working on new ways to streamline your job management and certification.
Clik Service
Action List on Equipment
Action lists will be available for equipment in the new year. This allows engineers to capture details about a piece of equipment that has been assigned to the job or that they’ve added in Clik Jobs or Clik Remote. We’ll also be adding new action list types so you can record more detailed data, such as comments, dates and times.
You’ll be able to build up a history of the work carried out for a specific equipment item as action lists are stored with the equipment. They can also link to the notification system, so you’ll be able to set up custom notifications to send regarding data captured in the action list.
Improved engineer schedule
Our developers are busy working on a big update to the Clik Service engineer schedule. This big overhaul will introduce new tools to make it easier to assign the right engineers for the job every time.
With the upgraded module, you’ll be able to select different schedule layouts to create schedules for different types of jobs. We’ll be adding new customisable options such as zones, skills and travel times to filter your engineers to find the best engineer for an upcoming job.
Development is already underway for the new engineer schedule and will continue into the new year. We expect this to be part of multiple updates throughout the year, so keep an eye out for additional information about this in 2023.
Others
That’s not all we have planned for Clik Service. We’ll also be looking into the opportunity to set up automatic reports that will run and email reports at set times, even when the software isn’t open.
Similarly to the Microsoft 365 email integration, we’ve also been developing a Google email API. This will give you the option to log into your account and send emails directly from your Google account in Clik Service.
NICEIC Cert Software
Photos
We’re adding new options to upload photos to certificates in the NICEIC Cert Software and Clik Cert Electrical apps. Our developers have been working on this new feature over the last few months and we’re almost ready to release it to all users.
You can upload an image in the office or take a new one using your mobile device onsite. This way, you can include proof of your completed work and document your processes more efficiently. You then have photographic proof attached to specific work for your records.

We expect to release this feature in early 2023. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on our blog and newsletters. If you would like to be notified when the update is available, fill out our form to register your interest.
Integrations
Over the last few years, we’ve been working on adding new integrations into Clik Service. This helps improve the way you manage appointments and communicate with your clients. The primary integration works with Microsoft 365 for calendar, email and search.
We also plan on adding these features to the NICEIC Cert Software. This will help you log when you send a cert to a customer, sync when reminders are due in your shared calendars and more. We also aim to add an integration with Microsoft SharePoint so you can store documents in the cloud and collaborate with your team easily.
Others
A few other updates we will be looking into in 2023 include custom notification options, reporting wizard tool and improvements to Part P.
Please note, these features are currently in the early stages of research and development. Keep an eye on our newsletters and blog for more information about these in the future.
Clik Cert
Photos
Photos are also coming to Clik Cert! You’ll be able to attach images to your gas, fire and catering certificates from the office and when onsite. This way, you’ll have photographic records of your work attached to your certs.
This feature will be in both the main office software and in the Clik Cert (Field) apps. Making it easy for your engineers to capture photos from their device and add them directly onto certs in just a few taps.
Others
We’ll also be looking into adding integrations to Clik Cert to help you communicate and organise your schedules. With Microsoft 365, you’ll be able to combine your diaries and keep track of reminders and scheduled appointments. It will also provide the option to send emails directly from your Outlook account from within the software.
We’re always working on new and improved features for each of our products. Check out our coming soon page for more details on what you can expect from future updates.
