2021 was already a big year for some big updates for our products, but we’ve still got loads of development plans up our sleeves. Take a look at what we have planned for each of our products in 2022.
Clik Service
2022 looks to be a big year for Clik Service. There is a lot to dive into, so here is a summary of what you can expect in the new year for our central job management software:
- Upgraded print template editor
- Microsoft SharePoint integration
- Upgraded property change notifications with Microsoft Teams integration
- Clik Connect
- Action list on equipment
- Engineer schedule and maps upgrade
New print template editor
First up for Clik Service will be a big upgrade to the print template editor; adding support for formatted notes, photos, new action list display options and a simple tool to build templates.
The new simple-to-use tool adds loads of default templates, as well as support for adding your formatted notes, photos and actions lists.
For more information and to sign up to get early access to the update, take a look at our coming soon page.
Microsoft SharePoint integration
Following our big upgrade to the Microsoft 365 integration in Clik Service, we’re looking forward to adding even more features and tools in the next few months.
We have been working on a new Microsoft SharePoint integration. This will enable you to store your files and documents in the cloud, rather than on your local file server or network. It will help free up space and improve collaboration with your team.
Upgraded property change notifications and Microsoft Teams integration
We also have a big upgrade planned for property change notifications. This will give you more customisable options for triggering notifications for action lists, stock, service level agreements and much more. It will also include the option to deliver notifications to Microsoft Teams.
Clik Connect
Clik Connect is our new solution that will allow backups, syncs and notifications to work without Clik Service running on the network. So your automatic backups can continue to run, even when you’re not actively using the main server software.
Soon after the initial release of Clik connect, we will be adding the option to send automated report emails as well.
Equipment action lists
We’ve already been working on making action lists even more customisable and intuitive. Along with the option to capture comments, numbers and dates to your action list questions, we will also be adding the options to add action lists to equipment.
Engineer schedule and maps upgrade
One of the biggest updates coming to Clik Service in 2022 will be to the engineer schedule and map tools. The engineer schedule is getting a major overhaul, with new ways to accurately schedule the right engineer for every job.
You’ll be able to choose different schedule layouts and create schedules for different types of jobs or engineer teams. Using zones, skills, service level agreements and travel times, you will be able to filter engineers and select the best possible engineer for the job.
Make sure to keep an eye out for upcoming newsletters and blog posts for more information on this exciting new feature.
Clik Jobs
We’ve been a bit quiet with Clik Jobs recently. That’s because our developers are busy working hard on Clik Jobs 2!
The new Clik Jobs will have a fresh new look and feel, with a shiny new interface and revamped tools along with a start/stop interface for recording travel and job times.
Development will be continuing into the new year and we can’t wait to share more about what you can expect from the new job management apps.
In the meantime, check out what it currently looks like:
NICEIC Cert Software
New feature plans are also in the works for the NICEIC Cert Software. Testing for cloud numbering is underway and will continue into the start of the new year.
Cloud numbering is a big new addition that will give you a new way to control your certificate numbers, particularly when out in the field. Specified users will be able to assign numbers and complete certificates when using Clik Cert Electrical.
Clik Cert
Next year will see plenty more coming to our certification software with plans on introducing a number of different certificate type packs, which will change which certificates are available for you in the software.
If you are looking to get bespoke certificates to use in Clik Cert, we can build them for you. See more information about what Clik Cert can offer or have a chat with your account manager.
It’s shaping up to be a very exciting year here at Clik and we look forward to sharing all these updates with you. If you want any additional information about any of the features mentioned, get in touch or keep an eye on our blog for future progress updates.
