gnome - welcome to clik news

Hello

Spring has sprung, the daffs are out and everyone's feeling a bit chipper. Welcome to this week's news, Bristol stylee.

NICEIC

NICEIC TechTalks

The next NICEIC TechTalk is on 13th April at Redworth Hall Hotel, County Durham.

This is the last TechTalk Clik will be attending until they resume in September.

The final TechTalk is on 29th April in Ballymena Ireland. Unfortunately, this TechTalk clashes with the Exeter ELEX Show and as we're a small company we would find it difficult to cover the two events. (I was looking forward to the Ireland TechTalk as it is being held here Galgorm Spa - Grrr!)

If you wanted to talk to Clik at the TechTalk in Ireland, please email us and we can answer any questions you may have. Alternatively if you would like to get your free trial of NICEIC Certification Software you can download it here or email us if you would like a CD posted to you.

clik v4

Clik v4

The developers are whizzing through Clik v4 now. On Monday Andy showed the team the new diary features.

The new diary will support recurring entries, it has vastly improved synchronisation with Outlook, the reminders are much better - you can create reminders by user or group and even receive them as a text message.

And, for all you visually pleased out there, you'll be able to change the skin of Clik v4 to suit your mood!

Clik - bright ideas

Clik v4 - your opinion needed!

We want the new Clik v4 interface to look beautiful - but it also needs to be functional.

We're divided in the office whether to have something similar to the Windows 2010 ribbon bar or to have something simpler and cleaner like the Windows 2007 toolbar.

Have a look here and email me to let me know what you think.

Things Clik like

Things we like...

You've met all the team, so we're changing the monthly feature to 'things we like'. (Maybe untill we have a newbie join).

So, things we like this month...

Rachel: My corsa

April: I love Temper Trap

John: My new Florence + the Machine album

Martha: Kittens

Andy: At the moment I'm loving "Eparistera Daimones by TRIPTYKON. Interestingly, the album artwork is by the infamous HR Giger (created the alien from the movies of that name). (Geek...)

Nancy: Crocheting! I'm in the process of making a blanket. And rugby players... thank you 6 Nations!

Tom L: Loving the big 5kg tub of sweets in the office.

Ed: The pub below my flat gives me free beer, oh and muller rice.

Paul: Domestic Appliance Insurance, its saved me nearly £1000!
