We're off throwing pots on Thursday

We'll be out of the office Thursday from 12pm onwards.

We are having an afternoon out at the Walled Garden in Somerset for a spot of lunch and to throw some pots.

Telephones will be answered in our absence and messages taken, we will get back to everyone the following day.

* Please note, if your call is extremely urgent and cannot wait until we return on Friday, tell the operator and we will endeavour to call you back on Thursday afternoon.

Clik AGM (annual geeks meeting)

We've always liked to keep you informed with what's going on at Clik, that's why we always ask you to give us your ideas for our software or pop by for a cup of tea a biscuit and a chat.

Each year we hold our very own AGM (annual geeks meeting - see above).

All of us at Clik get together, talk through our ideas, ask questions, and discuss the previous year and the year to come.

This year, we have something extra special to be celebrating. Our financial year end was on 30th June and we have posted our best ever financial results. Everyone at Clik has worked very hard during the last 12 months and deserve a big pat on the back. This success means we'll be able to devote more resources to developing new and improving existing products which will benefit all in the long run.

NICEIC - updates

The latest released certificates are:-

• FIM - Fire Alarm Installation Certificates (BS 7671 & BS 5839) (Green)
• FIN - Fire Alarm Installation Certificates (BS 7671 & BS 5839) - Approved Contractor

We are currently working on adding:-

• FSM - Fire Detection and Alarm System Inspection and Servicing Reports (Green)
• FCM - Fire Alarm System Commissioning Certificates (Green)

Clik 4

Clik 4 is creating a real buzz around the office of Clik Towers. Our developers are hard at work and the initial phase of development is almost complete.

The big areas of work have been around the basic structure, speed and connection issues. Speeding up certain areas has been a major priority and we have made huge improvements with handling large amounts of data. There will be no limit to the number of databases Clik can connect to (multi company) and switching between them will be easier than ever.

NICEIC TechTalks

NICEIC will be hosting a new series of regional TechTalk and Registration Road show events from September 2009 through to April 2010.

Clik will be demonstrating NICEIC Certification Software at all TechTalk events, so if you would like to see how the software works and could help your business, come along and we will give you a demo.

The events will be of interest and value to all electrical contractors and other industry professionals throughout the UK.

Background: Originally from the not-so-nice end of Surrey, rebelled at 17 and moved to Torquay, returned to the parents by the end of the holiday season. Renewed my love of the West Country after starting at Bristol Uni, just finished the 2nd year of Politics degree.
Five things I couldn't live without: The entire contents of my handbag, cupcakes, sappy indie-girl music, Facebook and a good glass of wine at the end of the day.
Pet hates: Waiting, and people who eat marmite out of the jar with a spoon (I do know them...)
