New Toshiba piping design programme by Clik is essential guide for engineers

A new software tool to help engineers, architects and building consultants design and check Toshiba air conditioning systems has been created by specialist software developer Clik Ltd.

The piping design system updates Toshiba’s existing package to include detailed specifications of the latest Modular Multi VRF (variable refrigerant flow) products. It advises which components, such as model header and y-joint kits, to use and which diameter pipe to fit each situation.

Also featuring details of Modular Multi-Systems (MMS), Super Modular Multi Systems (SMMS) and Super Heat Recovery Multi's (SHRM), the tool estimates the cooling and heating properties engineers can expect from the system they are building. It is also able to produce customised reports in a number of formats.

The package has been translated into fifteen languages and Toshiba is distributing it across Europe. It is available on CD as a boxed product and will be given away free to engineers, distributors, resellers and designers via a download from the Toshiba website.

“This is vital resource for anyone designing, installing or advising on new Toshiba air conditioning systems,” says Technical Director of Clik Andy Snook. “It provides everything a technician could possibly need to know about a new installation at the touch of a button.

“It is designed to save time and money by avoiding mistakes from the outset. It also provides valuable projections of the cooling and heating effect that the system will have – giving end users a good idea of the system’s benefits and efficiency.”

Clik has been working for Toshiba for around four years, developing software and internet solutions including projects databases and customers websites.
