Sanyo Choose Clik - European Experts for VRF Software

sanyoSanyo Air Conditioning Europe has appointed specialist Southville based software developer Clik to create a computer software tool to help engineers design Sanyo VRF systems.

The new software tool aims to make the process of designing and building Sanyo VRF air conditioning systems quicker, simpler and more efficient. It will also ensure that systems are built according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

The software will inform engineers which pipe sizes and components are required, advise on the performance of the overall system and of each indoor unit. It will produce efficiency reports, technical data and schematic diagrams, projects can also be output in AutoCAD DXF format.

Graham Wright, from Sanyo said: “Designing VRF systems can be a very time-consuming complex process. This new software tool will help engineers cut down the time required to design a VRF system together with ensuring the correct selection of equipment and components”.

According to Geoff Adams, Managing Director of Clik, this type of software is becoming an essential component of an air conditioning engineers toolkit: “Clik has worked for many years with several air conditioning manufacturers to produce computer software to aid and assist engineers with the design process, we are delighted to be working with such a successful and prestigious company as Sanyo”.

Sanyo Air conditioners has chosen Clik because of their reputation for developing ground breaking software for both installers and consultants.

The first phase of the project, to develop the VRF tool in English, will be completed by the end of May. The next phase will be to localise it for its European markets.
